Having a vast experience playing with high level musicians and bands in styles such as Jazz, Rock, Funk, Blues, Pop and Latin, I’ve grew up significantly as a guitar player and musician through the years, while learning and expressing large musical knowledge with this amazing instrument.
My stylistic diversity, technical and theoretical mastery, use of many effects and sounds, and skills as a composer and producer brought me to various musical works and adventures including recordings to prime time American T.V. shows, leading a Jazz trio and also a 10 piece funk band, and playing electric, acoustic, classical and bass guitar for many other projects and groups.
I’ve studied with world known masters and received many tools from them, they have inspired me to become a master myself. Through the last 14 years I’ve taught and directed students, groups and ensembles in private music schools, day schools and colleges, including students in almost every age and level of playing, giving them the best tools to grow as players, and an exciting and fun experience.
Supportive, friendly, encouraging, problem solving. I adjust the lesson plan to the rhythm of the student, and push him forward when it is possible and necessary. I rather have the student express himself with the tools he has and feel good about his playing, but I always teach new material and make sure the student keep advancing.
I’m very active during the lesson, I play and do the exercises with the students and I demonstrate exciting songs, solos and fun playing tricks. If there is an issue I’ll stop and will take it step by step to find a better and more suitable way to approach the subject. Learning guitar could be a very fun and exciting experience but it also requires patience and consistency, and I’m here to support every step of the learning process.
